Izabella Soderberg who plays for San Ysidro High School had earned Player of the Year honors for the 2022 high school season. Izabella was a sophomore when she earned this honor and her playing for the club team really helped her development in the game of lacrosse.

Mayor John McCann honored owner of South Bay Vipers Lacrosse the City of Chula Vista Coach of the Year on the evening of August 16, 2022. The words of Coach Chris Kryjewski " I am honored to represent Castle Park High School and South Bay Vipers Lacrosse to receive the award of Community Coach of the Year for the City of Chula Vista." "This award should also be honored to all of the coaches, players, and community supporters we had over the years at Castle Park High and with South Bay Vipers Lacrosse."
